Swiss Krono to Exit Laminate Manufacturing at South Carolina Plant

Barnwell, SC, May 14, 2026-Swiss Krono is exiting the production of laminate flooring at its Barnwell, South Carolina plant.

“The company, which makes laminate flooring and fiberboard, has operated in Barnwell since 2005 and expanded the plant in the past ten years.”

All laminate production will be moved to Germany. The plant will continue to product MDF/HDF.
